Do my customers need an app or an account?
No. They open your booking link on any phone or computer, pick their vehicle and a time, and pay the deposit. No download, no password.
How does vehicle pricing work?
You set a price and a duration for each service at each size: sedan, mid-size SUV, full-size SUV, truck and more. When a customer enters their year, make and model, GlossJet matches it to a size and shows the exact price. If a vehicle is unusual, they can pick the size themselves, or request a custom quote.
How does GlossJet know my drive time?
On Pro and Team, smart scheduling works out the drive between each job’s address, then adds the buffer you choose. A time only appears on your booking page if you can finish the previous job, drive there, and still make your next one, and customers are steered toward days you’re already nearby, so you’re not crossing town and back. On Free, any open time can be booked and your buffer is the gap between jobs.
How do deposits and payouts work?
Customers pay by card through Stripe when they book. You choose a percentage or a flat deposit, or just require a card on file. Money goes to your bank account through Stripe, less Stripe’s standard card fee (2.9% + 30¢), the same as taking cards on Stripe yourself. On the Free plan GlossJet adds a 1% fee to card payments; paid plans have no GlossJet fee.
Can I still take cash, Zelle or Venmo?
Yes. Mark any balance as paid with cash, Zelle, Venmo or check, and it’s recorded on the job like any other payment.
What happens when it rains?
On Pro and Team, GlossJet checks the hourly forecast for your outdoor jobs. If rain is likely, it suggests the next open times and, with one tap, moves the jobs and texts each customer.
Can I leave whenever I want?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month with no contract. You can export every customer, vehicle and job as CSV or JSON at any time, on any plan.
